The light is soft and directional, the palette warm, and the empty half is intentional: it is where your headline and your button go, and a hero image without it forces text on top of the product.
This is the image at the top of a shop's home page, the one in an email header, and the one a paid ad crops from. It works hardest on a small range — a row of the same thing in different colours reads as a collection in a way four separate square photos never will. It is not a listing image; marketplaces want square.
