The same scene, three different objects — because what you make is not what anyone else makes.

A highlight travelling slowly across a still object, so a polished or metallic surface reveals itself.

Send one photo of what you made and we restage that — we never invent an object. Extra angles only help when a scene shows a side your photo does not.
Try it freeThe object does not move and neither does the camera. A single soft highlight travels across it instead, from one side to the other, picking up every curve and facet as it passes. On a matte surface almost nothing would happen; on a polished one the whole shape is described by the light going over it.
This is how you photograph a finish. A still image can show that a ring is silver, but it cannot show that it is mirror-polished rather than brushed, and that difference is often the price difference. Reach for it for jewellery, glass, brass, resin, lacquer and anything with a mirror or a facet. On wool, wood or paper it is a waste of a video slot.
Send a well-lit still of the object where the surface is clean and the reflections are not blown out. Fingerprints and dust are invisible in a flat photograph and unmistakable under a moving highlight.
