The same scene, three different objects — because what you make is not what anyone else makes.
Steam and rise
Fine steam lifting continuously from the dish, backlit so it reads against a darker background.

Send one photo of what you made and we restage that — we never invent an object. Extra angles only help when a scene shows a side your photo does not.
Try it freeThe food stays completely still and steam rises from it in a slow continuous drift, lit from behind so it shows up as pale movement against a darker ground. Nothing else in the frame moves. It is a small effect and it does one very specific thing: it says the dish is hot right now.
For anything sold to be eaten soon this is the strongest clip in the library. A delivery-app listing with a steaming bowl outperforms the same bowl still, because the photograph stops being a menu illustration and starts being an order. It suits soups, coffee, bread, roasted dishes, anything served warm. It is nonsense on cold food, and a customer will notice steam coming off a salad.
Photograph the dish plated the way it goes out, from slightly above, in the brightest light you have. It does not need to be hot when you shoot it; the steam is added, and a cold plate photographs better than a rushed one.
